I need help with the editor.

So i just picked up hero lab for pathfinder and am very eager to get into the editor and start inputing some stuff not native to pathfinder i.e. some classes and feats and what not.

my problem is i'm having a hard time following the instructions that come with the program. anyone know of a tutorial site or something that might be a little easier for me to follow.

We're happy to help - just ask. The best hint I can offer you early on is to look at what already exists - in the editor, one of the buttons on the bottom left is "New (Copy)" - think of something that already exists that works like what you want to create, make a copy of it, and study how it works.

P.S. There is a specific forum for the Pathfinder files - go ahead and ask your questions there, then it will be easier for the next person to find your questions and use them as a reference.
 
ok, let's start with something that i think will be simple.

i have a weapon that i want create, and the only problem i'm having is that when you wield the weapon 1 handed you take a -1 penalty to AC.

how do i implement this in the editor so it applies the penalty?
