How to modify d20 to use path finder skill system

So, I still run 3.5, but really like the skill system of pathfinder.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for how to modify 3.5 (or an alternate using the authoring kit) to use those rules.

AKA, the 1 point per level, +3 if it is in class

you'd also have to change the number of skills people get (otherwise it could cause a major imbalance) the max they can put into skills, etc...
Its actually not a trivial change, and i dont know it its even douable without some significant mods, and might not be even doable. ShadowChemosh might be able to shed more light.

This might actually require source code access to some extent. You might be able to change the mechanical aspect through a script, but the d20 files are very incomplete when compared to pathfinder's. The d20 editor doesn't have all the nice functionality pathfinder gives.

I don't see a way to add mechanics into the editor in the d20 files. I believe you'd need to be able to create a mechanic for it. If you prefer the skills of 3.5 and classes you could always add the old classes into the pathfinder system and the missing skills you need.
