How to get into the Hero Lab editor?

Hello All:

Apologies in advance for the dumb question... this must be more obvious, but I can't figure it out!

From Tool/Show Editor I get this dialog:



And from the File menu, I get this:



On a mac.

I've checked for updates, tried both D&D 3.5 and 5e, I don't get access to the editor to create custom items.

Am I missing something obvious?

It looks like the active window is the Portfolio window. Is the menu different when you have the Editor window active?

Ah! I interpreted the dialog to mean going back to the main app menu! I didn't realize the dialog changes the main mac menu (which is not in the dialog on a Mac).
