How to drop a backpack

I used Hero Lab for the first time last night at a friends house. Very impressive. However, I DID come upon a problem with using the program during a game of Pathfinder. I seem to always be the one to carry all the stuff, and quickly become encumbered. I've always dropped my backpack during combat, but can't figure out how to do that in Hero Lab. My friend couldn't figure it out either. Being encumbered during a combat is literally killing my character!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
 
In the gear section, add a custom location - it should be near the top. Name it "On the Floor". Move the backpack into that location, and it will no longer affect the weight your character carries.
