How to delete character

How do you delete a character you don't want? I can go into the herolab folder and delete the character but it still shows up on the list but can't load. There seems to be no way to delete characters.
 
If you mean to delete from the PC, you can go to the hard drive under Hero Lab/Portfolio/Pathfinder and delete it out there.

If you mean to remove it from the console or view you have to have a second hero or monster open. You can then select delete hero from the Portfolio menu option. (You cannot remove the only active hero if there is not another one there as far as I know.)
 
Thanks but that did not work. Still there. There seems to be no way to delete characters that you make.
 
Are you referring to the character still being in the numbered list of "Recently Opened Files" that's at the bottom of the File menu? If so, just open enough other characters that the one you're worried about no longer shows up on the list.
