How exactly does the new unlink license option work?

I just noticed an option in the License menu that states "Unlink License from this Computer". I haven't noticed that being there before, and I can't seem to spot it in the readme.pdf.

How exactly does this function? I'm going to replace the laptops in my gaming room, so if this means I won't have to bother you with early reassignment that would be great.
 
The "Unlink License from this Computer" option was added in the most recent version of Hero Lab. This option is for users that want to remove a license number from a copy of Hero Lab, a useful option if you accidentally use the incorrect license number to activate your copy of Hero Lab. It doesn't affect the 120-day license reassignment period at all. I hope that clarifies things.
