How do I add DR to a custom armor material?

Am attempting to enter a new material for selection for custom armor that grants +1 DR/ Cold Iron. Getting the material in and getting the pricing was easy enough, but I am at a loss for how to right the script to get the DR to function. Any help would be much appreciated.
