How can I add the undead template to a character?

Hi guys,

I have been playing with herolab for some time. I have made items custom ect... But I have a wizard who is going to become a necropolitan (Forgotten realms template) It's just you become undead that's it. almost like a lich just without all the bonuses and stuff.

I would like some instructions as to how I can go about doing this and realise this limitation of herolab is not very user friendly when it comes to actually creating custom content.
How to add the basic undead template to an existing character....

Thanks.

Add the template where you add character levels.
Just pick the undead template instead of a class.

It foxed me at first too.

Here is a very simple user file that allows you to change just your type to undead, granting that character undead traits. You can use the editor to examine the contents, plus if you wish to look at other templates to modify it just click the New (copy) button and look at zombie or skeleton for more details.

Ok can you tell me how I can add this to my wizard? Not sure how I can change my type... you mean human to undead?

Once you have added the .user file to your Pathfinder data folder, you can add the Template to a character the same way you add a Class Level; Templates are at the bottom of the list.
