House rule to purchase a bonus feat with starting gold

The game Im playing in has the option to buy bonus feats with starting gold at level 1. Is there a way to add something via the editor to pull this off? If so how?

On the Adjust tab, the bottom portion called Other Adjustments has an option called Feats, Total. Add that to your character, then you can adjust the number of feats you have.
 
I would add then on the "Journal" tab you can enter a "Negative" amount of gold and press "earn" to lower the amount of gold you have on your character.
 
You should probably add a journal entry noting that you paid for the feat, so you don't forget later on how you got it or why your starting gear is of lower value.
