Hello,
Sorry if this is covered somewhere, i have just started with hero lab and its quite overwhelming!

What i am trying to do is make point blank shot a house rule feat that doesn't count, as in it doesn't exist but the benefits it has do.

The group i play with doesn't count it but in hero lab i have to add it to get access to the next level in that chain which then causes my guy to be over one feat all the time.

Any way i can do that?

If you go to the adjust tab -> then under other adjustment click "Add a new Adjustment" -> select "Feats allowed" from that list and set the adjustment to +1

In my eyes this is the easiest and quickest way to do so
 
Go to "Tools -> Editor", then in the editor, create a new file, then go to the "mechanics" tab. Create a "new (blank)" mechanic (blue button, lower left), then click the Bootstrap button (Upper right) and click "Click to add another bootstrap". Line should appear, left side is a button "choose", which pops up a list of things. Scroll through that list until you find Point-blank shot. There are several, you want the one with "fPointBlnk" in the parenthesis after it. Select that one and click "OK". Click OK again to close that window.

Centrally, there is a big grey box in the main editor window. Above that are 2 smaller grey boxes. For the Name box, give it something like "My Mechanic", and for the unique ID box enter something like "PBMech".

Now save the file, return to HL and reload the game system (if you've enabled debugging that is Ctrl-R, otherwise you can close and reload the game system). Now when you create a new hero, they should start with a copy of the point blank shot feat for free.

Well... F me... i didn't even look at that section! i guess i was thinking it had to be more difficult than that, it appears there is all kinds of stuff i can do in there... like i said i am very new to HL.
