I love the Hound Master archetype that can be found HERE.

I am terrible at imputing custom content in Hero Labs, and a couple of the features seem to be complicated. Can someone do this for me or walk me through it?
 
I figured out how to replace class features and add the druid like animal companion.

How do I limit it to just a dog or wolf?

How do I give the archetype two animal companions with the second one with an effective level being 3 less?

With the remaining class features I am going to create them as new features but have only the descriptive text, seeing as their abilities really would not be something Hero Labs handles.

This is controlled on the animal companion itself. Take a look at the "Race, Anim Comp" tab and the Lion Shaman (druid archetype) for some examples.

From what I understand this is a future feature of HL that will allow several different classes/archetypes to have multiple animal companions.

You are right, currently there isn't a feature that allows for two animal companions. I will just have to track the second hound with a separate character profile.
