HL In-Game Tutorial?

I've been looking for a good Hero Lab "in-game" tutorial. Something that goes over how to do everything you would need while playing pathfinder. I tried using hero lab in game a couple weeks ago and found myself just going to print preview and referencing it as a normal character sheet. There has to be more to it than that.

Any link to a video tut about specifically "in-game" use would be awesome. Everything I've found is just making a char, which is super straightforward so I don't need a tut on that.

If this is the wrong place to post or I'm breaking some rule please let me know, thanks.

Are you looking for a GM tutorial on how to run a game from Hero Lab? As if not I am not sure what you are asking. As playing a character in game is pretty straight forward in that you can access pretty much all conditions and such through the interface of the character?

I am just trying to get clarification :)

When running/playing a game, the primary screen you want to use is the Tactical Console (View>Show Tactical Console or <ctrl><T>). This will list the currently active weapon for your character, and you can get a quick glance at character abilities, stats, skills, defenses etc from mousing over the various circles on the right-hand side. Click the eyeball button on the left to make a hero active, and use the "New Combat", "End Combat", and "Next Round" buttons at the top to activate the initiative tracker feature. You can either allow HeroLab to roll initiative (which it does by default), or you can manually input the rolled initiatives and click "Resort" to automatically organize the active characters in the current encounter. You can add or remove characters in the currently active portfolio (meaning that if you're GMing, you want all of your bad guys in the same portfolio with the good guys to make it easier to track initiative) to the initiative order (so when someone goes down, you can pull them out of the initiative order and not have to worry about them any more).

You can click the targeting cross-hair to open up that character's file so that you can activate abilities (such as Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, or a cavalier's Order ability) that you can't access from the Tactical Console, and for changing weapons (from ranged to melee) or armor (drawing and equipping a shield). It's also useful for updating spells that get used (you can decrement them to indicate they have been used for the day, which allows players to easily keep track of how many uses they have left and allows GMs to do the same if they want to track it for their players, or they have a BBEG that might make more than one appearance in a day).
