HeroLab for Ipad

Yes, they can, but with 2nd gen iPads having very little RAM, make sure that Hero Lab is the only thing running. The way iPads handle "out of memory" errors is to simply close the active program, with no error message.
 
Yep. We have an old 2G iPad that wasn't being used, so it is not a dedicated "character" sheet when I play Adventurer League games. It is about all I use it for and it runs HL just fine. But, again, ALL I run on it is HL.
