I used HeroLab at the table last night and it worked well, better than I had anticipated. There were a few things though that I have questions about.
Bless grants the caster and his allies a +X bonus for the duration. Is there a method to apply a Spell Adjustment to all allies or do I need to flip through each member of the party, head to the Adjust tab, and add the Bless adjustment?
For organizational purposes, I have created a portfolio for the characters and a separate portfolio for key long-term NPCs, including potential allies, villains, neutrals, etc. I then created a third portfolio for the adventure, including all encountered combatants, summonable entities, etc. Then, as each combat came up, I would use the "Import Hero From Portfolio..." option, bring in the required combatants, enter Tactical View, and begin combat. Then when combat was over, I would remove the combatants from the player portfolio. Is there an easier or better way?
Once combat is over, is there a way to remove all Adjust items from the portfolio? There were a number of buffs in play in the final combat and I realized that in order to save the portfolio for the next session, I needed to go in and remove the bless effect, enlarge effect, rage effect, heal everyone up to full, etc. Is there a "reset to normal" option somewhere?
