Hero Settings: iPad => Drop Box => Desktop

I am baffled as to how to fix this issue.

I made a character on Drop box, and depending on where I am, I work on it either on my iPad or on my desktop. I have a first level PF Society legal summoner character that I am working on. Last night, I was working on him on my iPad. My eidolon was allowed 6 evolutions. I didn't think anything about it at the time as it was late when I was working on him. Today, on my desktop today, when I opened this file, I gets an validation error saying that he was only allowed 3 evolutions. In verifying this in the APG, I see that this is what he is suppose to have at level one.

I checked my hero settings on both and didn't notice any difference between the iPad and the desktop. So I set the defaults on my iPad, and saved it in Drop Box. I then opened the file from Drop Box on my desktop and set the file's hero settings as defaults on my desktop. This was to ensure that the settings were the same on both. Now, they both indeed have the same hero settings - as well as the same 6 evolutions allowed for my eidolon. <Insert expletive here!!!> for saving the settings the wrong way.

I am guessing that this issue is one that is happening somewhere in my default hero settings, but I can not find exactly which setting that it is. Does anybody have a guess as to which settings that might be causing this? Or, if it's an error, how to fix this?

When I reworked some of the mechanisms we use for companion types I accidentally duplicated the code which grants evolution points, which means they're incorrectly getting double the amount. We're putting together a bugfix release for this and a couple other issues, which should be out soon. Sorry for the trouble!
