Hero Lab unable to update

Seriously, the "Checking for Updates" just sits and spins. I have managed to watch an entire episode of Castle on Hulu while it tried to update :)

Computer rebooted and everything. Internet connection is fine. Running a connectivity monitor and everything peachy.

Mind you, I had no internet for about a week (thanks Comcast) and launched and worked on files within Hero Lab. Obviously it tried to update but was unable. So perhaps some file is corrupted?

Any ideas? Help!
 
Hello. I'm having a similar issue. Getting message that a new version is available. Wont let me open until I update. I update and then it still says I need to update. Been through the process before so i'm pretty sure i'm doing it right. Did a complete re-boot and didn't help.

Suggestions??
 
I actually have a ticket in with Technical Support as well. And it has been over 5-days with them and no response. I love the program but this is becoming a problem, especially as I seem to be unable to get help even via the proper channels :(
 
I stand corrected, my bad. Apparently someone fixed this somehow and just neglected to inform me. Not sure what was done but I can now update.
