Hero Lab & Absorbtion power

The Tinkerer

New member
So according to the second edition rules the Absorbtion power can be used to boost powers that you don't normally have, each counting as a seperate Alternate power of absorbtion itself. However I can't figure out a way to get the program to do this.

If the powers existed in the powers section, as if I could add them with zero ranks, then I could use the special tab to apply the temporary adjustment to power rank, but as it stands I don't see any way to do this in the current version of hero lab. Any suggestions?

If there are powers that you use on a regular basis - for example, let's say that every time you absorb energy, you channel it into a Forcefield power - I would just add those powers normally. To avoid power point costs, simply add a free Device and add the powers as children of it - then you can turn them on and off at will.
