Hero Lab 8.8c was released this morning for Mac and Windows. A corresponding 8.8.3 iOS version is in Apple's approval queue and will be released shortly.

This version fixes a bug causing incorrect text in some cases (most notably within the 5E gamesystem).
 
new 8.8c problem

Just updated to 8.8c. Now when I add gear I get multiple weights shown.

Just bought a barrel and I didn't put it in anything or anything in the barrel.
Bought the barrel and all the containers changed to have 2 loadouts.
Bought a basket and all the containers changed to have 3 loadouts.

Repeating text all over

Creating a Pathfinder Fey Succubus creates a lot of duplicate text. If you add more templates, you get more text. Looks like it duplicates all current items for existing templates for each template added.

Temp Fix

My Hero Lab is having the same problem. I went into the Develop tab up top, then clicked "DISABLE FAST EVALUATION FOR GAME". This seems to have fixed the problem for me. I only use the Mutants and Masterminds 3E version.
 
We apologize for the buggy release yesterday! A new version, 8.8d, has just been released that should fix the outstanding issues with yesterday's build.
 
A new update, version 8.8e, has just been released that fixes some lingering issues with updating in certain game systems. Notably, issues with Mutants & Masterminds switching to NPC characters, an issue with ShadowRun abilities, and an issue with deleting Feats within Pathfinder should now all work correctly without having to manually trigger a full evaluation.
