I am joining an in-progress Pathfinder game and I am making a Psionic character. Up until now I have only used Hero Lab for M&M.
I have added Pathfinder to my HL Data sets and installed it with the fan made psionics data file. It is killing me that only Psionics Unleashed has a data set. If anyone has a partial beta file that includes more I will happily playtest it.
The basics work but I have found a few bugs and I haven't seen them mentioned elsewhere. Both have to do with Psicrystals.
1. Psycrystal abilities based on owners level
Levels of any psycrystal class adds to the abilities of the crystal. See the last line on this page: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/equipment/psicrystals
Does anyone know a simple way to hack the dataset so I am make my crystal a few levels highers? What I have been doing is adding a pair of psion levels, printing the sheet and then removing the extra levels. This gives me a printout for the crystal I can use during play.
2. Improved psicrystal
The dataset allows the improved psicrystal feat but I can't figure out how to make it work. I don't see any way to add a second personality on the crystal.
It occurred to me that I could just add the feat skill focus instead but I'd want a way to adjust it on the in-play tab so it can be turned on/off with the selection for the psicrystal's distance.
I've heard that the Psionics Expanded data set is coming out soon. Is there a date for it? Again, I could beta test it.
