Help with RotRL please

I have just brought the Rise of the Runelords adventure path. I can load the encounters onto my PC version, but when I save as portfolios on my dropbox, they will not open on my Ipad. It says "An error occured and hero "<name of character>" could not be loaded. I have the latest updates and have reactivated my licence.

Am I doing something wrong?

In that case, go ahead and send it to that email address. It sounds like the problem is somewhere in the base Hero Lab program, and those of us who answer questions on this forum aren't familiar with the inner workings of that - we're the ones who create the data to to into Hero Lab.

David o, how many portfolios are you trying to load onto the iPad? The iPad app is currently not built to support many portfolios, as it's currently geared towards player needs.

We'd love to expand the iPad app so that it will support many portfolios, especially useful for GMs, but that's not something we have planned in the near future.

only one at a time. I have sent issue to support. They have replicated the problem, so hopefully I will have a solution soon.
