Help With Removing Armour Enhance Bonus

I wonder if anyone can help.

I am using a customised version of the UC Armour/DR rules. I want to remove the armour enhancement bonus from the Defence and just have it effect the Armour DR but am at a bit of a loss where to start.

I need this to be a default for all characters so that if a character is wearing Leather Armour +1 it will only add to the DR and not Defence.
