Was messing round making characters. Was making a high level Paladin(Chosen One) There seemed to be no way I could activate the familiars change self ability so I could make the change.
 
i'd report it as a bug. i'm not familiar with the class or the archetype but tried to just make one myself and couldn't see anything either
