Giving Advanced Templates to Campaign Library

I purchased the Rise of the Runelords encounter library. I have an additional party member and would like to add the advanced template to some of the monsters. When I try to add it, I get a message stating that advanced template must be added before class levels. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
 
You can click-and drag the template to change its position in the list - move it so that it's next after the race, but before any class levels that were added to the character.
