Is the giant riding gecko a racial mount? if so, is there a way in editor to make it a animal companion, or special mount for those classes that have pets/mounts? I have never seen it listed as a choice under anything I have made, but they can be bought as ordinary mounts.

You will need to use the editor to create this from scratch. Maybe copy the horse animal companion to get started. But a creature that is from the Bestiary as a normal animal is not the same thing as an animal companion. AC's have special rules in Pathfinder and are built in different sections of the editor.

I would recommend reading the Glossary of Terms for the Editor. Then check out FAQ#2 for all the places to learn about the editor including YouTube videos. Welcome to the wonderful world of using the HL editor which will be the most frustrating and rewarding thing you can do with Hero Lab. :)
