Gestalt Fighter/Ranger

I just bought Hero Lab today. So Im a complete newbie. If I have a good experience with Hero Lab, then I plan to purchase Army Builder

After an hour, however, I'm so confused!!!

I'm trying to enter my current character, which is a Gestalt Fighter/Ranger. We use Gestalt characters all the time to increase the survivability of first level characters.

However I'm finding it incredibly difficult to understand how to do it.

Is there somewhere to download a Fighter/Ranger Gestalt Class or Level?

I tried to create a variant class, however it then wouldn't stack with the normal classes.

Hi Mercury, and welcome to Hero Lab. Unfortunately, you have picked one of the trickier things to handle in HL for your first foray into the program. I've seen that some people have had success with using variant classes to mimic the gestalt classes, but I've not tried it myself. Can you tell me what you've tried to do, and what exactly isn't stacking? Maybe I can help you with creating it.
