I am trying to make a gesatlt type character Paladin/Cleric. How would I alter the spells so that I get the correct a cleric would have with the bab and abiliites of the paladin not being lost?

I do have a Gestalt addon package that is in Beta. It mostly works with some issues with Monks and stuff. You could give that a try.

Alternatively what others have done is created a new archetype to combine two classes together. With two spellcasting classes though the archetype approach does not work as well as you only get the spells from one of the classes not both.

I was going to suggest the secondary spells table, but that won't work with a class that already has them ... maybe a configurable now that they allow spells could be programmed to do it, maybe.

I was always fond of the idea of making the race handle the spellcasting of the second class.

Possible too, we should just have a 3rd and 4th spell table added to every class :-P

Aaron you can get on that before the next update right?

Another question

Ok teying the gestalt and it is working pretty good. My gm used a ols background book heroes of legend. I have figured out how to extra spells, but how do i add abilites like extra dice to channel/sneak attack? Also any easy way to switch out abilites? Using the divine emissary listed on d20pfrsd and they lose mercies to get anathamas.
