Genius Guides to Feats - Super Genius Games

Asandir

Well-known member
I have added all the feats from the following source books to Herolab (no scripting as yet)

The Genius Guides to:

Feats of Battle
Feats of Critical Combat
Feats of Divine Might
Feats of Immediate Action
Feats of Metamagic
Feats of Runic Might 1
Feats of Runic Might 2
Feats of Spellcasting
Feats of Subterfuge

Scripting and cleaning up the text are the next steps. I will probably be posting questions about some how to's as some of the Pre-Reqs are interesting.

All the feats are now entered. Scripting has begun and reviewing to see if the feats can be taken multiple times. Feats of Battle is about halfway done. Applying effects, where relevant has not been touched at all. Still learning about this scripting language and how it all works.

Feats of Battle pre-reqs are all done except for a few feats that have class abilities as a pre-req item, which I haven't figured out how to do yet. I will post questions about coding those in the Pathfinder Forum later. Feats of Critical Combat is up next for pre-reqs.

Still have a few Feats of Battle Pre-reqs and benefits to complete, but by and large the set is done. 2/3 of the way through Feats of Critical Combat. Mostly all just simple Pre-Reqs to do.

Feats of Critical Combat scripting is done. Only one or two items on Feats of Battle outstanding. Battle Mage feat is proving a little more difficult to implement the selection of spells.

Feats of Divine Might is up next.

Feats of Divine Might is 100% entered and about 80% scripted. A few things that need more work is when you select a few feats you can choose from a defined list of spells that you can take and a certain number you can take each time you take the feat.

Additionally there are some requirements for deity specific things and domains that I will need to work on as well. It's the old 80/20 rule.

Feats of Immediate Action up next.

Hi Hyrum,

Nope. These are sitting on my personal laptop as I am still working through the scripting for each of the PDF's on that first post list, to the best of my ability.

I had planned to finish all these up with as much scripting as I could figure out, reach out to Owen or now that you're back at SGG, about the possibility of making these available to the community or not.

If you'd like a copy of what I have done so far, I'd be happy to share it with you if I can figure out how to create an output file. :)

I'd love to see the file. :) Out for output, hmm.... If you send me the .user file that should work I think.

My email is hyrum (at) otherworlds (dot) cx

I actually created one .user file for each book, so there are 6 or 7 of them. I'll try to send them here shortly.

Ok. Having trouble locating them at 12:30 am.

Go to Tools->Explore Folders->User Data Folder

That will take you right where you .user files are at.

@Hyrum
If you need help with putting together .HL import files let me know as I can help. Especially you want to to use the new 3PP support HL now has. Which means creating unique ID for each data set.

Finally found them late last night and sent them off to Hyrum. I used the notes about creating parent records and assigning each one of them a unique ID via the .1st file.

I actually meant part of the creating of the .hl file is a different Unique ID. That Unique ID controls which Files are tracked during import so that they can be easily uninstalled by the end-user.

Different than the .1st file Source ID's...

Real life has intruded so I haven't made any new changes. Hoping to pick up later this week or early next week to continue moving forward.

Back to work on these. Feats of Divine Might still has some unfinished items in the pre-req space and some functionality for selecting spells each time a feat is selected. I'll get back to these later.

In the interim, Feats of Immediate Action is 100% entered and 50% scripted.
