Are there any files for this book? I see the advanced Bestiary for purchase, will get shortly, but I also recently picked up the massive book (PDF version), and would like to get the appropriate hero lab files as well.

Official HeroLab support was part of the kickstarter.

Freeport: City of Adventure Kickstarter page said:
If our Kickstarter funds, we will make the Freeport rules content available to ALL Pathfinder users of Hero Lab for FREE. You’ll be able to use our classes, feats, magic items, spells, etc. when you create your character or NPCs. It’s something the whole Pathfinder community can use and enjoy but only if we make our goal!

I believe (but don't quote me) that they are still in the works.

No issues :) Just pointing out that official support is/was planned.

The challenging parts, I think, are the classes; especially the Noble. Like conditions that if you select "this option" at 1st level you can make some alterations to the base class, but selecting a different option might enable a different set of alterations. You can later select "this option" at a higher level if you did not select it at 1st, but you don't then get the alterations. Also, the Noble can use Archetypes from other classes, and can stack Leadership multiple times for multiple sets of Followers but not Cohorts.. as well as the capstone giving a bonus instance of the Leadership feat that *does* allow multiple Cohorts.

I am not surprised that it is taking a long time.

Frumple is the main author as I understand it. I'm hoping he'll drop an update soon because last time he posted about it, he said end of March.

I assume he must've meant 2016.

Sorry. The classes have be very difficult. Everything but the classes are done and I am continuing to work on it. :/

As I expected.. some of the classes are so complex, they were likely to be the sticking points. The Noble class alone, as I mentioned above, has some really difficult options.

Thanks for your efforts, and I look forward to the finished product.

Totally understand. Please take my above comment as nothing more than gentle ribbing.

I've done a total of 3 entries from Creatures of Freeport and those took me far too long, so I cannot imagine what coding the freaking Monster Slayer would be like.

Oh I got the Monster Slayer and the Freebooter done (well mostly, the bonus feat are going to need to be handled by LW). It is the $%#^# Noble's Arcane and Religious training and the Cultist that are being a royal pain. The issue is that they use only part of another classes's abilities, such as bloodlines, etc. For example, is requiring me to basically code versions of these for just the Noble class.

Heh heh.. there's a reason I picked the Noble as my example of how hard the classes would be to do.

Being able to take "some" Rogue archetypes, and having the replaced abilities not be found on fixed levels, has to be freakin' hard as well.

Yeah. I got clarification from Owen about the spells from arcane and religious training for the noble. At first I thought I would have to make a custom gizmo to handle them but I figured out another way.

The archetypes are going to be a pain as well.

Take a look at the Unchained Rogue to see how LW was able to have "Danger Sense" get treated exactly the same as "Trap Sense" for old Rogue Archetypes. Just a thought....

Thanks shadow. I will do that.

The main issue is that for the new Freeport classes they say they can use all the archeytypes of another class. If the archeytype replaces or otherwise affects an ability that the Freeport class doesn't have you ignore it. I forsee many problems with this. :/

I am also expecting that the Freeport archetypes being available to multiple classes (and the Sea Dog is "any class") will make for a lot of work, too.

I am glad to see that it is being worked on, and am greatly looking forward to he finished product. I cannot imagine the level of dedication a project like this takes. Your hard work is certainly appreciated.

I appreciate the work you are doing Frumple. My DM just had our group pick up the PGtF for our next campaign, and ofc, I decided to play a Noble :)... I look forward to your updates but until then I feel like I might just need to old fashion PnP this one.
