Filtering problem (bug?)

Hi,

I need to make a search and select the following criteria:

Tournament: Diamond
Traits: Shugenja, Unaligned

And what I get is all the Diamond legal shugenja, unaligned or not. The
filter seems to be ignoring the second trait.

Ops, I think that I know what went wrong. By doing what I did I choose
both all shugenja cards and all unaligned cards.

How do I go about chosing only cards that have both the shugenja and
unaligned traits?

As you said in your other email, it's returning all cards with the Shugenja
OR Unaligned traits. This is the way the filter mechanism currently works;
it could be changed, but not without re-doing the UI somewhat.

Would searching for the Unaligned trait, and the word 'Shugenja' in the
card text work? That might be an ok work-around for the time being. Or
would using the 'No Alignment' faction tag work instead?

No "unaligned" does not mean the same as "no alignment". Still I have
tried your suggestion (Trait: Unaligned, word: shugenja), and I find
another problem:

You see, I'm using the "merge duplicate cards" option, so only the MRP
of a card shows. However the search yields:

Mohai (Fire & Shadow), Te'tik'kir EXP (Dark Allies), and Yosuchi
(Ambition's Debt). All three cards should have been merged with their
Diamond Edition counterparts, which lack the unaligned trait.

BTW, when can we expect an updated L5R file? Diamond Edition was
released a couple of weeks ago but some data are still missing (rarity,
for instance).

I have discussed this with Management, and we've worked out a way to
include ANDing of tags in the current filter mechanism. This should be
incorporated into the next release of Card Vault.

This is a bug in the filter mechanism. It'll be fixed in the next release.

Hopefully very soon; however, depending on the amount of work that needs to
be done on them, it may take a little longer. Sorry for the inconvenience.
