Fey Creature Templates

Hello everyone! I was making a fey creature gnome. I noticed when I did this that it gave me resistance to Cold and Electricity. In the "Fey Creature" tab it gives a selection of Acid, Cold, Electricity, and Fire. I thought this as odd, so I saw it was pulling from Monster Manual 3 (I looked it up). In MM3, you get to pick only 1 of the resistances. Are the programmers aware of this? Is it a fluke? Was this done on purpose? Whats the deal? Should this be reported as a bug/mistake?

You're in the Pathfinder forum, not the 3.x forum.
I'm guessing a Fey is a little different in the Bestiary than it is in the Monstrous Manual.

I believe the OP means Bestiary 3, not MM3. That's where the Fey Creature template comes from. From the template description in that book:

Defensive Abilities: A fey creature gains a +4 bonus on saves against mind-affecting effects, resist cold and electricity 10, and DR 5/cold iron (if 11 HD or less) or DR 10/cold iron (if 12 HD or more).

The Energy Resistances can be increased as detailed in "Special Abilities", or new ones chosen. Therefore, what you are seeing is correct and not a bug.
