Hi Colen,

thanks for the prompt changes to the original release. I've found 2
minor things, one of which may be a matter of interpretation. Firstly
though the description of the 4+ save is not appearing in the printout
of boarboys when they take cyboars. It does work correctly for when
cyboars are taken for nobs etc. The boarboys use the foCyboar option
whereas the nobs etc use the foCyboar item. Adding in apnd to the
foCyboar option sorted this. There is probably a better way of doing it
but it works for me.

The second one relates to the nob selection for boarboys. My reading of
the description suggests that he too would get the cyboar for +5 points
(just as he gets the normal boar for free), especially as you pay 22
points to upgrade him (compared to the footslogger prices of 10/11/12
points). I simply copied over the relevant attributes and options etc.
from the boarboys (foBoarby) unit to achieve this. I accept I may be
wrong so you may argue that he does have to pay 15 points for his cyboar
and leave it as it is :)

Not having looked at the files for a while they are getting really
complicated, I used to be able to follow them with relative ease, now I
have to work at it, old age setting in :)

An old friend of mine always maintained that good deeds were amply
rewarded by later events, I've found this to be the case more often than
not and I hope that you receive the rewards you deserve for all the
sterling work you do on the files. Gork and Mork helps us when you
finally decide you've had enough!

Cheers

I'll check that out, I've probably forgotten the abbreviation or
something.

The reason that the Nob doesn't get the Cyboars for 5 points is because
the 5-pt Cyboar comes from the Options section of the unit - and as we
all know from the space marine scout sergeant / sniper rifle debacle
some time ago, sergeants / nobz only get things from the Weapons
section.

Thanks :)

Of course the old fungi finally kicked in and I realised that on a
normal boar he can take 'eavy armour for 8 points and avoid the
difficult terrain penalty.

For nobs generally the boar and 'eavy armour combo at 13 points probably
outweighs the "fleet of foot" cyboar at 15 points with a tendency to die
in difficult terrain.

What I don't understand is why the boarboy nob cost 34 points, a
standard nob and all other unit nobs cost 20 points. You've practically
paid for a cyboar, I wonder if it is a typo? Stranger things have
happened, after all they haven't said how far a squiggoth can move so my
interpretation would be 6" which isn't fast for a transport, but it is
fairly tough :) Meanwhile I'll invest in 'eavy armour.

Cheers
