Feral Combat Training

Hi there, I'm hoping some could help me out. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but it seems a little strange. I'm trying to add Feral Combat Training more than once - I've met the prereq's and it works fine the first time I select it from the feat list. It however then disappears and I can't select it again. I've looked at the feat wording and it looks to me like I should be able to select it more than once. Maybe someone else has come across this before? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I remember many discussions about this feat over at the paizo messageboards. - I think you can only choose this feat once, because it does not say that you could take it multiple times - other similar feats always have it written in their discription when you can take them more than one time.

If you dislike this solution, here is what you could do:

Recreate the file via copy and paste in the editor - including all eval.-rules and so on (you will have to do this manually, as it is not open content) with two minor changes:

1. Nest to the unique id (that you will have to give the feat yourself), there is the field "uniqueness" - choose "No" instead of "add once"

2. On the right there is a panel named "Replaces thing id" - there, you will have to type in "fFeralComb", which is the unique id for feral combat.

When properly done and saved, you should have an exact copy of the feat, only that you can take it more than once.

Seeing that the OP has only one post in this forum I assume you could use some help getting started with HL Editor.

In that case I recommend checking out Managing User Files tutorial video on how to create/manage new .user files in the HL Editor.

Figured it could help. :)
