I am making a new belt that has Epic damage reduction. What do I put for a field ID in the bootstrap fields tab?
 
For this you would want to write a script as you would want it setup to only work when equipped.

In that case their is a pre-built macro called "#applydr[]" that helps.

My advice would be to watch the THIS four part video on using the editor. It takes a cloak of resistance and makes it a cloak of protection. But allot the info you need and the script is in the video. It will get you really close.

Then you would use:

#applydr[xDamRdEpic, 5]
Instead of giving a bonus to AC. I am not 100% sure the xDamRdEpic is right but that is something you can look up.
