There are a couple of suggestions I'd like to make for future features in Hero Lab (Pathfinder, of course). These are mostly based on my new status as a first-time Pathfinder GM and my experiences using Hero Lab to help me out.
1) I'd love to see a mouse-over tooltip explaining how the APL and CR is computed, in the same style as other computed values (skills, attack bonuses, etc). I've had this happen several times with other values where I'm thinking 'wait, why is that number that and not this?' and this is one of the number that I'd occasionally like explained in more detail.
2) I am running a Runelords campaign at the moment, and my character pool fluctuates between 4 and 7 players based on who shows up for the night. My good-guy portfolio changes quite often, so the system I have been using is to keep all of their characters separate and import them into a 'master' for the gaming session. What I would like to see is an 'Export All'-type feature where each character in the portfolio would then be exported to its own separate portfolio in a folder of your choosing (naming them automatically to each character's name).
I think this is all I've got for now... I'm sure I'll think of something after I post it.
I'd also like to say that I (and my group) love Hero Lab very much. I was fortunate enough to get them to buy in to using it and we have all benefited greatly by 'getting the numbers right'. Also, it was great to meet some of you at GEN CON and I look forward to going back there in a year or two, I hope that you are there in force!
Thanks
Brian
