Is it possible to have the Configure Hero checkbox automatically remove (or even grey-out) invalid options when Pathfinder Society Core is checked. Having to uncheck 50+ items from the Companions and Campaign Settings is tedious (and annoying). I know how to work around this but it shouldn't be this difficult when setting up a new character in PFS Core. Thanks.
 
Once you check PFS core, the individual items are marked as invalid when you try to select them. There's no need to turn off the books, too.

Marking PFS core on my copy of HL only marks as invalid the other two PFS options. It doesn't mark anything else as invalid at all, or if it does, I can't see where I'm supposed to know that, as the checkbox is still white, and there's no error text anywhere I can find when I select stuff from player companions or third party stuff.
 
He means there is a prereq on every item in the game that will invalidate them if they are not available in core. If you're selecting "Show Valid Items Only" on your selection forms if will take everything else out.
