Feature request in ABC: copying links

harkan

Well-known member
At the mo' in ABC u can copy units, items etc in ABC by pressing ctrl + k or edit -> duplicate unit.

There are quite a few times either in a linkset or unit/item that it has a number of links that the only difference is the option id. If these links have a number of exclusions attached to them it can be a pain to add the link in, set min/ma, range and exclusions etc especially if there are a few exclusions.

Would it be poss to have a copy function for the links, adding a button next to the 'New', 'Edit', 'Delete' buttons for links that would create a copy of an existing link with everything copied part from the option id in a similar way to ctrl + k does now?

cheers

I've run across a few situations where this would be extremely useful.
Also, being able to copy an option from one unit to another would be quite handy as well.

Agreed...There are times when I need the same option slightly altered (min-max range for example) with differring live restrictions...

Good idea. I've added it to the list.
