Familiars

I have made a Sorcerer, and I want to give him a familiar, but when I go to the Mount or Hireling area of the sheet, there aren't any listed. How do I get a familiar?

I think it's on the sorcerer tab, near the top left corner.

that is correct, arcane bloodline gives a familiar, and sylvan gives an animal companion. after selecting the bloodline you have to select familiar under arcane bond on the sorcerer tab, at that point the familiar icon at the top left corner of the screen shows up on the sorcerer tab.

though if you just want the familiar and nothing else from the arcane bloodline, at level 3 and with charisma > 13 you can then take eldrich heritage and select the arcane bloodline which will give you an arcane bond for a familiar. so you could actually get both an companion and a familiar this way.
