exporting files

I was wondering if any body had ever encountered trouble when using
the export funtcion of AB creater? when I use it the datafile i try
to embed the units, objects, etc is rendered unreadable by both
ABCreater and Army Builder.
Any Help would be greatly appreacited.

Are you talking about the Export->Export Units (Options etc...) menu
item from ABCreator? If so, this is the same as the Export to Text
item except that it only exports the specific section... If you want
to take all of the units (or options etc.) from one file and put
them into a seperate file you'll need to look at the manual and read
up about "abdata" and the file format that it requires to turn a
text file (that you have exported above) back into a datafile
readable by ABCreator and Army Builder...
