Export custom file from iPad?

Long story short, my computer died and my backup didn't have one particular custom file I built and added to HeroLab on my iPad.

Is there a way to get just that file from an iPad backup or is there another means to get access to it? (Not an Apple guy here, so apologies if this is a simple thing I've overlooked).
