Excruciatingly Bad Performance 01/16

Tried to play Saturday 01/17 around 2000 CT, HLO extremely slow and wouldn't load, tried many different browsers across multiple devices and OSes. For the last ~90 minutes or so it wasn't just slow for me and my players, it wouldn't complete any page loads. Tried a few dozen times, sometimes just let it go for 5-10 min between refreshes. Couldn't view my character or anything, nor could my players.
 
There were wide-scale Internet service outages everywhere. I woudn't be surprised if this was just part of the larger problems.
