Maybe I'm missing something, but when I advance an aligned class with an animal companion using evangelist, the animal companion does not appear to advance. Specifically I tried to advance a divine hunter, but this particular combination of abilities seems like it's not working at all. Yes, I did indicate at "In-Play" that the deific obediance was observed, still no dice. I suspect I'm doing something wrong but can't fathom what. Can anyone help?
