Error Writing File to Disk

Stad

New member
I have been getting this problem with auto updates. I have done a ful reinstall and it never seems to fix. It will work with army list updates, but not with actually army builder updates (new ver and stuff).

I have renewed licence so that isn't a prob.

Does anyone else get this? (Running Vista)
Biggest problem is not able to install pdf printer upgrade.

Thanks

I'm going to guess that you elected to install Army Builder beneath the "Program Files" folder and that you are using a Windows account that does *not* possess Administrator privileges.

Please try launching AB with Administrator privileges. You can do this by right-clicking on the shortcut you normally use to launch AB and selecting the "Run as Administrator" option. If this works, the simplest solution is to configure AB to always launch with Administrator privileges. You can do this by right-clicking on the shortcut for AB and selecting Properties. Go to the Compatability tab and check the box next to "Run as Administrator", then save the change. Now AB should always be launched with the approrpriate access privileges and the problems should go away.
