Error with Data Files

Hi,
First let me say that everyone who contributes does a great job, I wish I knew as much about coding, I'd help.... but I just have my tip toes in the water so I do small things.
After the last update, I started getting an error from the Psionic Unleashed material, and I went through and took it all out... or so I thought. I went through every user file on my computer and couldn't find any reference to these errors (I didn't set-up anything to use psionic stuff yet).

Wondered if someone could point me in the correct direction.

The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab...

Errors:
Thing 'wMindBlade' - Condition phase/priority (First/499) for bootstrap thing 'wMndBldLt' occurs after earliest rule/script (First/495)
repeat of above error
Thing 'wMindBlade' - Condition phase/priority (First 499) for bootstrap thing "wMndBld1H' occurs after earliest rule/script (First/495)

You have an outdated version of Psionics Unleashed. Update to the latest version and the problem will go away.

Thanks for the quick reply. I updated the Psionic stuff and now I get the following errors...

File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 3) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skPUAhypno')
File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 8) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skPUKnwPsi')
File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 16) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skEnerRay1')
File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 33) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skFarHand1')
File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 48) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skForcScr1')
File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 70) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skMyLight1')
File: Psionics Unleashed.user (line 85) - Thing - Duplicate record encountered ('skHammer1')

There are over 20+ errors, I just listed the first couple. Now, I deleted the user file PU, because I couldn't find it when I went into Tools, to delete it (like it said to do), now only the updated version (1.8) is in there.. any ideas?
EDIT - and I finished loading into Pathfinder, and I don't see any Psion choices (for class or such), nor is it on the Configure Hero to check it

It would appear you have a very very old version of the files before they where officially released to the community. Because "Psionics Unleashed.user" is not the name of any file in the package currently. Their where a few places it was pre-released at so my guess is you picked it up from their.

So you will need to preform an extra step here. You will need to go into the C:\programData\HeroLab\data\pathfinder folder and remove (you can delete or move it out of the folder) any file that says Psionics Unleashed or Dreamscarred.

Then step two go to C:\programData\HeroLab\download and double click PsonicsUnleashed_v1.8.hl to start the import process again for PU v1.8.

Both steps should be done without HL running. You should be good to go after step 2.

FYI - Once HL gets an error on load it goes into safe mode and does not load any addons. Also to get a complete list of errors for the future you can always "right" click on a error window and select Copy.

YES! Thanks Shadow, that did it. I found one file squirreled away that I didn't notice for some reason before.

I appreciate all the help you gave me, now I can use my own .user files as well and learn to how to make more. yah!

If you ever need a data entry person to help with all the great work you guys do, I do own my own computer repair business (dealing with windows, mainly, learning mac and others as I can), and I'd love to learn more about coding in Hero Lab, I've watched the videos (great btw) and read everything I can. Just putting it out there, send me a PM if I can help.
