I can't believe nobody else picked up on this. Wolf Guard battle
leaders take their wargear with Wolf Guard prices. It's in some WD or
something as one of the advantages of taking a WGBL. Besides that,
the rulesboyz said that was the case too, and nobody's contradicted
them on that. It's always been the way I used my list on pen and
paper, and I figure AB should do that better.

P.S. Does anyone know how much the Citadel Journal costs in Canada?

AAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!! no they *DON'T*!!!! The WD article in
contention talks about the WG getting access to the cheaper weapons,
not the WGBL's. The WGBL's are an HQ choice, they pay HQ prices...

Some people did, but I made rude comments about them and they went away.

White Dwarf sometimes get things wrong. The Roolzboyz often get things
wrong. :) If you can find evidence in the Space Wolf codex to support
that Wolf Guard Battle Leaders get cheap wargear please present it, but
otherwise I don't think it was the intention of the game designers to
give multi-wound, multi-attack characters 5 point Terminator Armour.

The question about items being bought for thw WGBL was raised on my SW mailing
list and an email sent to Jervis to clarify the entry in the SW codex.

Jervis says that the WGBL buys items at the full points cost - not the cheaper
Wolf Guard prices. He's not a normal Wolf Guard from the Elites section, he's an
HQ choice and Independent Character.

Hope that clears up some confusion.

I just thought I'd make my first ever egroups post about something I
actually no something about, so here it goes.

I too saw the jervis email. He did in fact state that that was an
editing error in the codex, and was meant to be taken out before it
went to print. The codex does in fact state that the WGBL takes his
stuff at wolf guard prices. The correction has never made it into
"official" print, however. Just an obscure email from Jervis.

If you would like to continue taking your WGBL with Blowout Sale
Priced equipment with your local buddies who have no clue about this
editing error, than feel free. I'd personally be ashamed taking this
broken character, and I'm happy Army Builder is on top of the
situation...

Can you tell me where I can read the E-mail? And I will probably run
this over with my buds... come up with some disadvantage for takin
cheap stuff. If we can't come to a conclusion, then I'll just pay
full price.
