I've found an error in the beta-2 chaos file for 40k. If you elect to have a
retinue for your lord and upgrade all of them to aspring champions it's
possible to have more members of the retinue than the maximum of 9.

This is an odd Army Builder 'feature' - in certain cases like this the
unit size limit is enforced as a validation message rather than a hard
limit. Check the validation messages, you should have an error there.
