Equippable Traits

Is there any way to make traits equippable so that their bonuses are added to the character?

I am thinking specifically of the Giant Slayer trait that gives you attack and skill bonuses against giants. Is there any way to 'equip' the trait when you are actually fighting giants and have those bonuses automatically added?

These bonuses are considered Situational bonuses and will be displayed under Attacks and Damage as "info text". But HL very rarely has these setup as something you activate on the 'In-Play' tab.

So your best bet here is to add adjustments on the "Adjust" tab that give you those bonuses and then turn them on/off when attacking giants.

Cool, I figured out how to do that. There are 5 separate adjustments (attack bonus, damage bonus, and skill bonuses on bluff, perception and sense motive).

Is there any way to group the adjustments so that they can all be toggled on and off at the same time?

i can't seem to find such a trait. is it an official one in an official book?

if it is user created you should be able to edit it to do what you want. you could make it so there is an activated checkbox on the in-play tab that would then add those adjustments

That sounds allot like Favored Enemy? If so there is a Favored Enemy adjustment you can add on the Adjust tab under the "Conferred" ability section.

Not currently no.

The only way to do this would be to use the editor to create a new Adjustment that combines all the scripts together.
