Encumbrance and Incoporeal

Because any monster that is created automatically gets an Artisan's Outfit (which cannot be deleted) creatures that are incorporeal or have a low STR are always over encumbered. Is there a way to fix this?

Those outfits are still under 3.5 rules and there for they weigh in at zero pounds. You sure its not the Money (ie gp) they are carrying that is causing the issue?

Doh! You are right. It is the cash. So I guess the question is how do I get rid of the starting cash?

Never mind... I forgot to remove the starting gold in the Create Hero screen when I made an instance of the creature....

If you change the creature to an NPC the starting cash should automatically disappear. Otherwise, if for some reason your PC is incorporeal, go to the journal tab and enter a negative number equal to your current gp or eliminate it in the configure hero screen.

You know, I've been thinking about this since it posted. Does a ghost touch weapon lose its weight when created?

Another thing that comes up is, an incorporeal creature can have items, they are just in the ethereal plane, yet they too, will be listed with weight. One of those things that comes up rarely, but definitely and issue worth looking at. Maybe if there was a way to designate gear, weapons, and armor as incorporeal for incorporeal creatures?

Well, just a random late night thought.

Other ideas is there is a Configure Hero option to make gp not weigh anything. For a current method Kendall-DM you can put the item or money to the Ground bag actually which removes the weight from the character but leaves the item and stats on the character.
