Encumberance problem after update to 3.8a

I have a character that in 3.7 was at medium encumberance. I now updated to 3.8a and encumberance is the same. I then move some of my gear from my character to my mount and encumberance has not changed. I manually added all of the weights and I should be in the light encumberance and verified this using PC-Gen as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

Even if it was lots of gold dropping 50 lbs to the ground should have dropped 50lbs in the columns to the right. It didn't and stayed the same number.

Not allot of information to go by. Maybe upload the .por file and I can take a quick look at it. But so far myself and my players have not noticed any issues and encumbrance is used in our games.

Here is the .por file. I was going to remake the character, but I have it in PC-Gen as well, so it isn't a priority now.

HL says you have 44.98 lbs of gear.

I quickly added everything up and I got 44.98 lbs. With a 10 Str or 11 Str with the MW Backup that is still a medium load as you are over the 38 lbs. I moved the Sunrod x4 to the horse and the weight dropped by 4 lbs.

The only confusion I could see is that the 1 lb listed for say the Sunrods x4 is the weight of EACH not the total. So the total weight to add in your total is 4 lbs. This is same for say Alchemist's Fire x3.

So at this point if PC-Gen is saying you are a Light load then its unfortunately incorrect or you don't have the same gear in the two programs.

Otherwise I currently don't see anything wrong with the .por...
