Encoded text in statblock

frumple

Well-known member
I have found that using the following will encode text in the statblock:

bold: ~[!b]xxxx~[!n]
italic: ~[!i]xxxx~[!n]

etc.

Is there a list somewhere of how to use these to encode a superscript, or force a character to be capitalized?

Here is the Encoded Text article on the HL wiki. Those are the only ones I have used.

NOTE: It has been mentioned if you use the "font" style you need to make sure you use a font that is on all windows, mac, iPads if you plan to release to the general public.

Yeah those are for the HL braces encoding. I was wondering if there was something for the bracket encoding I was talking about. Doing something like ~[!super] does not work.

bracket encoding
Bracket braces. They are all B words... :)

In that case you need to ask Colen. I know some of them and I was specifically told not to share and to send people to Colen. :(

Those bracket ones are how I get the colors and bold to show up in the HL installer for the community. This was all many years ago and maybe it don't matter anymore but I gave my word and I don't break that....
