There seems to be an interesting phenomenon when creating and Eldar
Vyper Squad. You can adjust the amount of Vypers in the squad, and you
can also add a squadron to the squadron. When you do this the max
number you can have in the original squad is reduced by one. You can
do this twice. The new secondary squadrons can also have the number
adjusted, so you can end up with a total of 7 vypers in one squad.

Any ideas why it is like that?

If you give the squad more than 3 models, it comes up with a 'Unit
outside bounds of it's model count (1-3)' message.

The Vypers do this because each vyper can have different combinations of
Wargear. It does work, it just has to be a little contrived to do so. :)
